Delete Your Account

You can delete your Forage account and data at any time. Here's how, and exactly what happens when you do.

Option 1: Delete it yourself, in the app

Open Forage and sign in
Go to Settings
Tap Delete Account
Confirm when prompted

Your account and data are deleted immediately — this is the fastest way.

Option 2: Can't sign in? Email us

If you've lost access to your account, email contact@forageit.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request," including the email address your Forage account uses.

We'll process your request within 5 business days and confirm by email once it's done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your account details — email, name, and login information
Your dietary preferences and pantry staples
Your saved recipes
Your scan history
Your shopping lists

This happens immediately and can't be undone — there's no recovery period.

⚠ Your subscription isn't cancelled automatically

Deleting your Forage account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Google Play manages billing separately, so it will keep renewing until you cancel it directly.

To cancel: open the Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Forage → Cancel subscription. You can do this before or after deleting your Forage account.
